SANDUSKY, OH, September 9, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Frances Lee Voltz, Circulating Surgical Nurse for the Firelands Regional Medical Center, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in surgical nursing.

At the Firelands Regional Medical Center, Ms. Voltz serves as a liaison for patients, maintains charts, consults with patients and offers mentoring services. She is also responsible for precepting nurses and assisting physicians in the operating room. Ms. Voltz has 28 years of experience in her field. She began her career as a licensed vocational nurse.

In 2009, Ms. Voltz received a Master of Science in Management, with a concentration in Business, from Colorado Technical University and a Bachelor of Nursing from Bowling Green State University. She is a registered nurse and licensed practical nurse. She is a member of the Ohio Nurses Association, the Association of PeriOperative Registered Nurses, and The American Nurses Association, Inc. A supporter of the Special Olympics, Ms. Voltz hopes to become a teacher or legal nurse consultant in the future.
