This page contains all the information a potential customer or client might need and includes contact information, a mapping feature and a full description including pictures, if requested. In addition, the site will also allow restaurants to upload a full menu, if desired."
The Brunswick County NC area is a heavily visited tourist destination. The goal of the new site is to provide a one-stop resource for potential visitors to the coastal NC area.
The site will feature businesses from all over the Brunswick County area and will include listings from Shallotte, Ocean Isle, Sunset Beach, Calabash, Holden Beach, Southport and Leland, NC. Links to existing websites in the coverage area will be provided.
"We hope to create strategic partnerships will all area retail and service based businesses,' stated Mr. McCauley, 'and are aware of the fact that this will take some time certainly. We are making our major enrollment push now, before the 2008 travel season."
In addition to providing access to local businesses, the Free Publicity Focus Group has also partnered with CashBackSaver.com. This gives local residents and visitors the opportunity to shop nationally without the need to travel outside the Brunswick County area.
"The costs and upkeep of a standalone website has been prohibitive for some local businesses," said Mr. McCauley, "and the learning curve in regards to optimizing that site for good traffic is considerable. We hope to be able to offer a viable alternative to the standalone site through BrunswickCountyMall.com."
