From Oil Boom Town to Oil Boom Town Canadian Company Rides High on Petrol

Big changes coming to a newly purchased storage facility in North Dakota

WILLISTON, ND, February 28, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Canadian Commercial Ventures Inc. (CCV) has recently purchased Schatz Self Storage in Williston, ND for $4,676,500. Located at 6415 1 Ave West, this facility houses 54,000 sqft on just over 8 acres and comprises 293 units; it will be rebranded as Williston Mini Storage.

Due to the oil boom of the past decade, Williston has grown expenentially and is now North Dakota's sixth largest city. Five minutes North of downtown and perched on a hill overlooking Highway 85, the high visibilty of the project is what initially drew CEO, Matt Verity, to the opportunity: "The combination of location and additional land for expansion in a high growth area has made this an investment Canadian Commercial Ventures could not pass up."

In the months since the aqcusition, CCV has added 5,000 sqft of the only heated storage in the market, and is in the process of a 22,000 sqft expansion that is due to be completed by July of 2015, with another 30,000 sqft planned for 2016. "We are so happy to bring the first and only climatized units to the market, but it is the impending growth of Williston that really excites us."

Headquatered in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Canadian Commercial Ventures Inc. plans to expand in both Canada and the US in the coming years through a combination of development and aquisitions.
