From Woodstock to Manhattan Teen Guitar Prodigy is set to Play at the 19th Annual Sarasota Blues Festival
With Musical Roots in Woodstock and after Playing The Top Stages in NYC - 14 Year Old Myles Mancuso was recently awarded the Annual "Hot Records Award" from The Max's Kansas City Project and a grant to further his carrier. Now off to take the National Stage

    WOODSTOCK, NY, October 17, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- October 24 Sarasota Blues Fest - 14 Year old Myles Mancuso is set to perform at the 19th Annual Sarasota Blues Festival in Florida on October 24th. The Mojo Myles band will play for an hour starting at 12:00 Noon, the festival will take place at Ed Smith Stadium, 2700 12th St. Sarasota Fla. Myles' band will perform as one of the featured acts at the Sarasota Blues Fest along with headliners Little Feat & The Duke Robilard Band along with The Bruce Katz Band, Floyd Miles and others. The promoters of this Popular Blues Festival pride themselves on presenting a young guitar talent every year. Other notable young guitarists appearing early in their career; Derek Trucks, Joe Bonamassa, Jeff Healey among others. Top National acts like BB King, Dr John, Buddy Guy, Little Milton, The Allman Bros and many others have performed for the thousands who attend each year.

Award Acceptance in September - September 10th Myles Mancuso accepted the "Hot Records Award"; an award & $500 grant that goes to a deserving teen for his/her accomplishments in arts. The award/grant is intended to recognize and help further the young recipient's career in the arts. The Mojo Myles Band headlined " at the Triad Theater, 158 West 72nd St. NY NY., for "RetroFest21" a concert event celebrating the 40th anniversary of the legendary Woodstock Music Festival. That evening Myles was presented with the "Hot Records Award" from the Max's Kansas City Project.

Myles Early Start in Woodstock..... At 8 years old, Levon Helm let Myles sit in at a show that Levon was performing for the Town of Woodstock, on the town's Village Green. Myles' band started to play around the Woodstock area (The Colony Cafe, The Concert on the Green Series and other venues). At 11 Years Old, he performed live on WDST Radio in Woodstock a number of times, he continued to play on more New York City stages as well. After promoting Myles at a number of shows in New York City, Sid Bernstein (best known as the promoter who brought the Beatles to America) was asked about the young performer in an interview; Sid he stated "I love this kid...I think he is going to be a Big Star !" Sid goes on to say.... Myles is a "Bona fide Prodigy that will captivate and thrill an audience".

Performing in Manhattan.... Myles a Prodigy Performer and gifted 14 year old entertainer is billed as "New York's Youngest Working Bandleader & Guitarist". He's been fronting his own band on top stages in the New York City and Tri State area since he was 9 years old, playing at BB Kings in Times Square, The Cutting Room, Iridium Jazz Club as well as a high profile Gala at the famous Tribecca Roof Top. He also plays a featured spot at one of NYC's Top Tourist Destination/Concert Venues; The South Street Seaport. Even performing at Madison Square Garden to almost 30,000 people for the half-time performance at a Season Opening Knicks Game.
