Frontline Consulting Services (FCS) Inc, a leading IT Solutions provider, today announced it has appointed Sreenivasa Hosamane as company's General Manager APAC and Offshore development centers. Prior to joining FCS, Sreeni was Vice President at Oracle Corporation [ORCL: NASDAQ]
FCS has been experiencing a rapid growth in all it's business units including SaaS, Consulting, Outsourcing and Products. To sustain this rapid growth, FCS has been aggressively expanding and is on it's path to triple the headcount in offshore development centers in India to 500+ engineers by 2010.

Sreeni played a steller role in establishing a highly successful Oracle Application development R&D center at Hyderabad since 1999. He brings tremendous experiences in creating 24x7 applications development and support centers using "follow-the-sun" model. He was instrumental in coming up with multiple Oracle Application releases like 11i and R12. He led R&D teams in Financials, Supply Chain and CRM product lines. In his last role he was Vice President - Oracle Global Services Delivery team - an off shore arm of Oracle's North America Consulting. He led teams working on implementation and CEMLI developments of eBusiness Suite 11i10 & R12 releases.
FCS is strategically focussing on SaaS, Managed and Implementation services globally. SaaS business model provides customers with ability to have Software deployed on a provider's servers and use it as a service on demand. SaaS enables centralized installation, implementation and feature updation - hence customers need not worry about infrastructure setup, Configuration, regular software upgradation, maintenance and customization. Since SaaS architecture can use virtualization, it can benefit from increased system capacity.
