Alwell joins Fuel as the vice president of business development where he will serve as a leader in the execution of the business plan and new business strategy. He will be responsible for developing and maintaining new partnerships, making software demos and sales presentations, and heading up special projects.
Prior to joining Fuel, Alwell served as the vice president of sales for Journey and vice president of business development for Blue Magnet Interactive. He joins us from Petaluma, California where he spent the last three years. When Alwell isn't hard at work driving new business, he enjoys spending time with his family; debunking math puzzles and is an expert at Sudoku.
Werner joins Fuel Travel Marketing as its newest web developer. He will code, test and maintain new and existing web-based applications. He will also collaborate with team members on product definition, scope and timing, as well as document all work and troubleshoot and solve those pesky computer bugs.
Werner previously worked as a developer at International Textile Group. Prior to that, he worked as a freelance developer and cable technician at Comcast. Werner grew up in Knoxville, Tenn. and attended the University of Tennessee, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. In his spare time, Werner enjoys scuba diving, fishing, relaxing on the beach and cooking.
