The e-commerce is based on the osCommerce platform, one of the most advanced open source e-commerce architecture available today. Besides the standard osCommerce facilities, functionalities like LinkPoint payment gateway, shipping US and international and buying with cost reduction coupons were added in order to satisfy the client's needs.
The most important achievement regarding this project, that implied also an important amount of effort from the Cratima team, was writing from scratch the "shopping cart" and the "checkout" modules, so that the access to the products in the website to be easier and the buying process to take as less steps as possible.
The website design was realized by Cratima with regards to the target visitors - youths (teenagers) - and to the products: "funny t-shirts". Aware of the website design importance for the image of the company and for its message to the clients, the Cratima designers have succeeded to fully satisfy the client with a great "piece of art".
The Content Management System (CMS) used for this project has a double functionality. Besides the standard usability, managing the e-commerce products, the CMS was developed and adapted to permit the management of other website sections.
The Internet Marketing idea became notorious and is more and more present today. One of the most important online marketing strategy is the creation and the development of a big social network. To make the most of this promotion strategy, the stand-uptees.com project has a special page on its website that contains links to the most important social networks websites, each of them being represented by its specific logo. The visitors that are interested can access the Stand-up Tees profile on the social networks, add it as friend and may win a t-shirt in the marketing campaign "friends with benefits".
