FyberSearch Updates Advanced Features and Releases Search Plugins for the Firefox Web Browser
FyberSearch has updated it's collection of advanced features and released search engine plugins for the Firefox web browser.

/24-7PressRelease/ - BURIEN, WA, November 29, 2005 -- FyberSearch has updated it's keyword density and search inside features to improve functionality and user friendliness. Each one of the search engine tools at FyberSearch can now be accessed via the search toolbar in the Firefox web browser by installing a simple plugin.

The both the keyword density and search inside features can now be applied to each word in a user's search query as well as to the entire query. This can be helpful if a user would like to find web pages matching their search query but, for example, would like one word to be found 10 or more times in the text of each web page and the other word to be found in the title of the web page. More information and examples can be found at http://www.fybersearch.com/help.php.

Besides updating two features, FyberSearch has released a new feature that most major engines do not offer called "proximity search". Proximity search allows people to specify the number of words apart each word in their search query must be. A simple version of the proximity search feature is done all the time when users put quotes around a search query to indicate that each word must appear exactly one word apart. FyberSearch built off of this concept to offer the end user more control over the number of words apart their search query is found in web pages. It should be noted that this feature only applies to the title of web pages, not the text. More information and examples can be found at http://www.fybersearch.com/help.php.

Everyone who uses the Firefox web browser has a drop down menu at the top right side of their web browser that contains a list of search engines. FyberSearch has developed search plugins to allow Firefox users to add FyberSearch's tools to the list of engines. The plugins can be found at http://www.fybersearch.com/plugins/ and are available for the following search engine tools: Web Search, Tutorial Search, FeedPlex, Web Thoughts and GhetoSearch
