Gallopinggeezer.com grabs seniors and boomers!

Gallopinggeezer.com is a brand new website for seniors, boomers, and families to get together for stories, games, travel previews, and entertainment.

/24-7PressRelease/ - PORTLAND, OR, March 18, 2008 - Gallopinggeezer.com is a new site developed by Gnus Gait Media LLC founder and publisher, Frank Ryan of Portland Oregon. Ryan created the platform on the innovative site to benefit the underserved senior-boomer age markets on the internet. It gives most age 50 plus readers an easy to use site.

Visitors can enjoy travel, chat, non-fiction and fiction pages with numerous full color photos and art clips. Gallopinggeezer.com is an E rated site for all ages, and is based on traditional values. It is directed to English speaking folks in the US and Canada, but future plans include a global reach. Grandparents and grandkids can get together and have fun on the new site.

"Seniors and Boomers today are young thinking, and are dreamers. Even the oldest still have fun reading great stories, and playing games. They don't want to admit to being older, but they will admit to having a dream!" Ryan quipped. He is currently in the Newspaper business in Oregon State.

Senior surveys indicate this group has more time, money and desire to read than any other age group. They own over 88% of all the assets in America. They have time to have fun. Recent statistics show the age fifty plus crowd will be 60% of the population in the US by 2030. Similar statistics now mirror the US in other English speaking countries around the globe.

Ryan states, "We wanted to build a site that was easy for even the most inexperienced senior, boomer or family member to use. It is intended to be a one stop place for puzzles, games, poetry, stories, photos and quips. We wanted a place where kids and grandparents could get together and have good clean fun."

He said, "We gathered great talent in my web development team with Don VonderBurg also of Portland. Don has previous experience as communications manager with Johnstone Supply and he owns Marketwebsites.com."

Art and creative elements were accomplished over a 12 month period. Clever Monkey Graphics artist Tracey Monnette and numerous artists were contracted to create the logo and geezer art and characters. Most of the stories are original.
Stories and photos are provided by up and coming US and Canadian authors and photographers.

"Gallopinggeezer.com is a great place for travelers, gamers, and folks who love a good story!" Ryan notes. It has tales of Alaska in non-fiction, great amateur and professional photos and storyboards with great photos of places to visit as well as a brand new Forum with numerous chat room topics. One of the hottest items is the game room where puzzles, games, book reviews and recipes are found."
