/24-7PressRelease/ - SAN DIEGO, CA, September 23, 2007 - The co-founder of the nation's largest healthcare staffing company, Ms. Gayle Francis, today announced the launch of KeepComingBack.com, the first online social networking site with video technology for people in recovery from alcoholism, drug addiction, overeating, gambling and smoking. At http://www.keepcomingback.com, people can upload videos, ask questions, participate in forums, blogs and chats and read the latest addiction and recovery news articles. The site also showcases the work of featured musicians and artists.

The launch of KeepComingBack.com coincides with "National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month" in September to raise public awareness of the societal benefits of treatment for alcohol and drug use and promote the message that recovery is possible.

"KeepComingBack.com was created to provide a journey of discovery for people affected by substance abuse by offering them a way out of isolation and loneliness through interacting with others online. It's a place for people in recovery or who are new to recovery, as well as their friends and family members. The website provides an interactive forum available 24 hours a day for people to share their stories, hopes and challenges with others," said Gayle Francis, the company's founder and CEO. Ms. Francis co-founded AMN Healthcare 22 years ago with her husband, Steve Francis. AMN Healthcare has grown to be the largest healthcare staffing company in the United States. "We are very excited to launch KeepComingBack.com during National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery month," added Ms. Francis.

The social networking site is unique with its emphasis on state-of-the-art web and video technologies. Videos have become increasingly popular on social networking sites, and it is now easier than ever to create and upload video content to the Internet. "People can upload videos taken on their cell phones to the site. Video stories are a great way for people to keep in touch with their support network. It's a perfect use of the technology to help people help themselves," said Ms. Francis.

Estimates indicate that as many as 20 million Americans suffer from addictive disorders, yet less than 10% receive treatment. Approximately 30% of the people who do seek treatment will prematurely end their treatment. "In my practice, I have observed that people in recovery are more likely to stay in treatment programs and can avoid episodes of relapse by not isolating if they have social support from others facing the same challenges and problems," said Steve Dansiger, a counselor and educator in the field of addiction who serves on KeepComingBack.com's Advisory Board. "With the launch of KeepComingBack.com, we provide the ability for people to interact with others at any time in a meaningful way, and we are very excited to be able to utilize the latest technology to facilitate that communication," said Mr. Dansiger.

Ms. Francis hopes that the advanced technology features of the website will make it easier for visitors to KeepComingBack.com to connect with others as they progress through their recovery by providing a sense of community. "Visitors to KeepComingBack.com share many common goals and challenges," said Ms. Francis, "and a shared sense of community can help people with their recovery challenges." As one of the website's members commented, "I like the fact that KeepComingBack.com allows me to communicate with others at any time about my recovery, and I feel connected with others who have shared their stories as I watch their videos. KeepComingBack.com is my one stop for all things related to my recovery. There's really nothing else like it."
