LOS ANGELES, CA, September 29, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- In "White King and the Doctor" and "White King Rising", Lee Kessler exposes the tactics used by terrorist Ayman Al-Zawahiri to bring down the United States from within. Ex-CIA analyst James Mikolas enlists Gen Y gamers Andy Weir and Brian Washington Carver to leverage their technology skills to stop Zawahiri from triggering his doomsday scenario against the United States. A firm believer in the strength, ingenuity and creativity of Generation Y, Kessler's two heroes epitomize the best of today's youth.

Just last week online gamers and researchers made the news for deciphering the structure of an enzyme of an AIDS-like virus that has stymied scientists for a decade. Researchers turned the problem over to the gamers — and they solved it in just ten days. The gamers used Foldit, a revolutionary computer game enabling individuals to contribute to important scientific research. By team playing, it harnesses the power of crowd sourcing.

Seth Cooper, one of Foldit's creators was quoted as saying that, "Games provide a framework for bringing together the strengths of computers and humans. The results in this week's paper show that gaming, science and computation can be combined to make advances that were not possible before."

"I agree with Firas Khatib of the University of Washington biochemistry lab when he said, 'The ingenuity of game players is a formidable force that, if properly directed, can be used to solve a wide range of scientific problems,'" said Kessler. "In fact, in the third book of the "White King" series, I reveal how our Gen Y gamers attack the financial problems happening across the globe."

In a series of speeches, live talks, radio and television interviews across the country Kessler says that she has "been fortunate to meet literate, optimistic, and energetic young people who are actively engaged in working to improve our society and culture." She believes that "by communicating with our young leaders through open forums we will understand why they think and feel the way they do and be able to work together to achieve our goals for a stronger, safer and healthier America."
