Tax maps allow users to see the individual parcels on the map, their lot boundaries and lot dimensions. Flood zones are put out by FEMA, and indicate a property's risk of flooding. Both items are vital to the real estate transaction from the perspective of appraisals, title, and research for potential transactions.
