/Cambridge Who's Who/ -- Georgette Elizalde, Occupancy Director for California First Management Associates, has been recognized by
Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in property management.
With 30 years of professional, Ms. Elizalde is recognized as an expert in regulatory compliance management. She lends her talents to California First Management Associates, a real estate management company. Her responsibilities include ensuring that regulatory compliance issues are met at various properties, coordinating initial project lease-ups, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of applicants with all occupancy regulations, auditing resident files and all documents related to Section 8, Tax Credit, and housing programs and supervising the annual re-certification process at all sites.
Prior to venturing into Property Management, Ms. Elizalde was a social worker, community organizer and advocate for disenfranchised children and families. Her leadership was recognized the the Supreme Court who appointed her to two four terms of office with the San Francisco Juvenile Justice Commission. She attributes her professional success to the values of higher education, personal and social responsibility and faith which her grandmother instilled in her.
Ms. Elizalde became a Certified Property Manager in 1998 through the Institute of Real Estate Management. In addition to industry related training, she obtained a Master's Degree in Social Work in 1979 from San Francisco State University and an Associate Degree in Criminology in 1976. She is currently a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management and the National Affordable Housing Management Association, thru which she became a National Affordable Housing Professional-Executive. She names St. Jude Children's Research Hospital as her favorite charity.
