SARASOTA, FL, February 19, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Recently at the Chicago Auto Show, Toyota announced that it would once again bring back the popular 100 Cars For Good campaign in which U.S. nonprofits are nominated to receive new 2012 Toyota vehicles as both a reward and encouragement for their fantastic dedication to the community. Winners for the event are selected through public voting on Toyota's Facebook page which can be found at http://www.facebook.com/toyota.

Germain of Sarasota proudly supports the 100 Cars for Good program and knows how much good excellent nonprofits can do for those in need. Over the next 100 days, 100 cars will be given out for outstanding philanthropic groups like the Chicago Zoological Society which was the winner of a Toyota Sienna minivan in 2011. Stuart Strahl, Ph.D., president, and also Chief Executive Officer for the Chicago Zoological Society had this to say:

"We are very appreciative of this tremendous donation from Toyota. The new van has been invaluable in our efforts to bring our conservation and informal science education programs to under-resourced communities throughout Chicago and the suburbs. Our dedicated staff travels year round to these communities, inspiring families to gain an appreciation of nature and wildlife, not only globally, but also in their own backyards. We have also used the minivan to transport young students to the zoo and field locations as part of the Society's award-winning Youth Volunteer Corps."

Toyota makes sure, through their generous contributions, which make sure that a soup kitchen in Morristown, NJ can collect food donations and a Wilmington, NC nonprofit can take service dogs to injured veterans. To apply to be part of the 100 Cars for Good Program simply register at Toyota's Facebook page.
