RTL Exclusiv will feature a documentary on the inner-workings of international phenomenon EurocarOC.com, as well as the home life of Tilo Steurer on their Sunday evening program, currently slated for a May 2010 air date.
In 1985 Tilo Steurer immigrated to the United States from Germany with no knowledge of the English language. With a three-year old son in tow, and determined to succeed in his field of dreams, Tilo struggled to learn the English language, without any traditional schooling. Taking his experience as a master mechanic for Mercedes-Benz in Germany, he worked his way up in the luxury & exotic auto industry as a European car mechanic in a small repair shop. Eventually, Tilo designed and built Tilo's European Autohaus, located Los Alamitos, CA, (the largest dealership of its time in Los Alamitos, CA) which, after growing to its full potential, Tilo later sold in 2001. Today, as his current dealership, EurocarOC.com, has quickly become one of the largest, if not THE largest, exotic & luxury pre-owned automotive dealership on the West Coast, Tilo was asked to share his colorful story with the German viewers of RTL.
