/24-7PressRelease/ -- An event billed as "the ultimate Asian cultural festival" is coming to Dubai from Thursday April 1st to Saturday April 3rd.
Taking place in the amphitheatre at Dubai Media City, Zee Dubai Mega Mela is a vibrant celebration of Indian culture with various zones dedicated to fashion, food, music and entertainment.
As well as musical performances from acts such as Shankar Ehsaan Loy and Ali Azmat, people using
hotels in Dubai during the festival can expect daily appearances from Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan.
Meanwhile, the Moulenix Chefs' Theatre is set to host culinary demonstrations from some of the Indian subcontinent's top gastronomes, including Sanjeev Kapoor.
The event will also feature regular catwalk shows displaying some of India's latest fashions alongside local designers and high street names.
Standard tickets for Zee Dubai Mega Mela are priced at 80 dirhams (GBP14.50) in advance or 200 dirhams on the door.
Children will be charged 50 dirhams, while there is also a family ticket available for three adults and two children priced at 250 dirhams.
Recent events at Dubai Media City include the Skywards Dubai International Jazz Festival, which ran from February 10th to 19th and featured performances from David Gray, James Morrison and the Brand New Heavies.
