Julie-Anne Gilburt is a painter living and working in Brighton, England. Gilburt has exhibited very successfully in a series of one-woman exhibitions in many parts of Europe. Living by the sea and a love of classical music are strong underlying influences. Her paintings balance quick, spontaneous brushstrokes with more controlled, clean lines, a building up of layers and contrasting textures.
