Ginger Bonin, CPA, Named a VIP Member of Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Finance Management

Ms. Bonin specializes in financial management, business process improvements and system implementations, and has been a director of KPMG LLP for the past two years. As a key member of KMPG's federal advisory practice, she is responsible for dealing with government organizations, including the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps, as well as other Department of Defense agencies. Ms. Bonin is involved in a wide range of consulting assignments covering federal financial management improvement, business and information strategies, system implementation, change management, business process improvement, and effectiveness and efficiency studies. As a people person, she is always looking to build relationships with others. She became involved in her profession after earning a CPA license and working as an auditor for Deloitte & Touche.

As a financial professional, Ms. Bonin has more than 20 years of direct management and supervisory experience with large, complex accounting, consulting and auditing projects. She spent more than five years supervising Oracle Federal Financials system implementation efforts within the Department of Defense. She also has experience leading teams in planning and performing audits of financial statements for public companies that are required to file with the Securities Exchange Commission.

Ms. Bonin is a Project Management Professional. She received a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Colorado at Denver. She is licensed as a CPA in the states of Colorado and Virginia, as well as in Washington, D.C., and is a member of the Colorado Society of CPAs, Virginia Society of CPAs, and AICPA. Ms. Bonin also holds memberships to the Project Management Institute, American Society of Military Comptrollers, and Association of Government Accountants. In years to come, she plans to become a managing director and leader of KPMG LLP.
