The new products share the same unique qualities as the original Pink Tool Belt : signature pink suede leather, heavy-duty industrial grade, lightweight and shaped for the female body.
The Mini Pink Tool Belt was designed and created after Girlgear Industries received hundreds of inquires about tool gear for young girls. Kellie Reamer, creator of the Pink Tool Belt product line says, "Moms and dads in the "do-it-yourself" crowd were begging us to create a mini version of the Pink Tool Belt for their little girls. Their daughters work with them around the house and in the workshop on home improvement projects, gardening tasks and crafting hobbies." Kellie designed the Mini Pink Tool Belt as a fun and functional accessory to accommodate all of these activities and more. "It's great to see a young girl excited about building and fixing things. I think it can lead to a high level of self-esteem and a strong sense of independence. I hope that our product, in some small way, can contribute to that path." The Mini Pink Tool Belt has 5 pockets, 2 hammer loops and an adjustable belt for 20 to 30 inch waists.
The Pink Tool Pouch was designed as a result of customer feedback on the original Pink Tool Belt product. "We found that many of our customers did not need the full 11-pocket tool belt design. They wanted something simpler and more versatile" says Kellie. Girlgear Industries created a single pouch design with 8 pockets and 2 hammer loops. The tool pouch slides along the belt, so that it can be worn on the front, back or either side as needed. They also increased the belt length to accommodate larger sized hips, offering an adjustable length up to 60 inches.
Girlgear Industries created the Pink Work Gloves to round out their Pink Tool Belt suede leather product line. This is the most requested new product idea that Girlgear Industries has received since the launch of the original Pink Tool Belt . The Pink Work Gloves are made of premium suede leather, designed to fit a woman's hands. "We wanted to offer a serious work glove, designed for comfort and durability, that our customers could pair with the Pink Tool Belt products or use independently", says Kellie.
Girlgear Industries anticipates sales of the Pink Tool Belt products to spike as the holiday season approaches. Valentine's Day and Mother's Day were the busiest sales periods of 2005, but the winter holidays are expected to surpass both in sales volume.
