SAN ANTONIO, TX, October 16, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The arrival of fall and a "one in a million" opportunity brought over 50 golfers to Canyon Springs Golf Club on October 2 for the first annual Technology Integration "Fore" The School Golf Classic.

The event, which included a silent auction and a Million Dollar Hole-in-One Shootout, raised $5000 for the Southwest Winners Foundation (SWWF); those proceeds will be used to further SWWF's mission of serving at-risk high school students in Bexar County who face barriers to their success in completing high school.

"It was great to see so many people come out in support of our schools," says Jim Neal, President and Co-Founder of SWWF. "We had perfect fall weather, a field full of enthusiastic golfers and volunteers, and even a visit from the Spurs Coyote. It was a lot of fun for all of us, and more than that, it was a great opportunity for the community to come together for the students."
