/24-7PressRelease/ - BOCA RATON, FL, June 04, 2008 - With a 50% divorce rate, millions on dating sites and 67% dissatisfied with their jobs, women and men today are in a continual state of grieving. A new website has just launched to assist anyone seeking a unique way to bury relationships that have caused them pain and suffering " http://www.exmarkstheplot.com. This virtual cyber cemetery offers a place to go and start the healing process featuring headstones to mark the dead relationship with an epitaph and the first initial/last name of the buried. A virtual burial package is only $6.95 and also comes with a death certificate and eulogy scroll.
People wanting to inform friends also have the option to send out copies of the death certificate and eulogy. A grief room blog, as well as grieving resources is also slated for the site along with a resurrection section for relationships that are healed and brought back to life (all coming soon). EX Marks the Plot is for both men and women. The site's "grave digger" is a woman dressed in a cropped tee-shirt, fedora hat and patent knee high boots.
"Whether it's a bad breakup or a bad boss, people can experience healthy grieving by putting closure to the past with the ones who don' t last," said Abby Waters, the creative force behind the site. "We provide a forum to help people let go of the past in a positive way and move on. It is not a website to bash and hurt people; it is a healing website to get out anger and frustration in a proactive way. We believe in hope," she continued.
Abby has had endless discussions with friends and co-workers, both male and female, who could not get closure at a relationship' s end. During one of these conversations was when the idea for the site was given life through death, so to speak. Frustration gave way to an idea and some fun and satisfaction. At exmarkstheplot, people will be able to bury everything from sports teams and personalities, politicians, bosses, and co-workers to interpersonal relationships including ex boyfriends, girlfriends, spouses and/or in-laws. They also have the option to "bury yourself" when someone is looking to just start over and put their old self behind.
Called the Think Tank by the Boca News and a Renaissance Woman by the Sun Sentinel newspaper, Abby Waters has also been featured in Time Magazine and internationally in the UK Guardian. An inventor and entrepreneur, she is the CEO of Beautiful Brews, a beer company that produces the highly acclaimed Honey Amber Rose. Waters is a Vintage clothing and accessory buff and a poet -- she won her first poetry prize in 5th grade. She has been honored by NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners), Northwood University, and the Inventors Society of South Florida.
Based in South Florida, Ex Marks the Plot was launched June 1, 2008. For more information, please click to http://www.exmarkstheplot.com or visit the myspace page at http://www.myspace.com/exmarkstheplot.
