/24-7PressRelease/ -- Gulf Coast Marketing Services, a full-service advertising and marketing company, has been hired by the Grand Central District Association (GCDA) to handle the event marketing and coordination of two large events, St. Pete Oktoberfest and the Chili Cook-off.
Gulf Coast Marketing Services, with 18 years media experience, has been hired to control the many aspects of the events including sponsorships, vendors and ticket sales. Michelle Kalanja, President of Gulf Coast Marketing Services, will coordinate this year's St. Pete Oktoberfest, Saturday, October 8, 2011, and the Chili Cook-off, Saturday, February 18, 2012.

The second annual St. Pete Oktoberfest is a city co‐sponsored street festival being held at 2100 Central Avenue in the Grand Central District. With dozens of craft beers from over 30 local and national breweries around the country, this event has quickly turned into a great tradition for St. Petersburg.
The seventh annual Grand Central District Chili Cook-off will take place along Central Avenue between the 24th and 26th blocks. The event includes live entertainment, street vendors and activities for the entire family that are guaranteed to spice up your life.
