van hire through Sixt rent a car will be able to take advantage of further rate reductions for advanced bookings following a new pricing structure introduced this week.
The special price reductions for advanced reservations will give customers that book one week in advance discounts of up to 10%. Customers that book three weeks or more in advance can take advantage of even greater savings with a discount of up to 25% being applied. Discounts are available to anyone that books a pre-paid car or
van hire at any of Sixt's 3500 worldwide locations.
The advanced pricing system has been introduced to reward customers that book in advance, giving Sixt a greater time to control fleet requirements at specific locations.
From the customer's perspective it simply means even better savings, for example a week's
car hire in Palma Majorca during the peak season of June is available for just GBP215.
The big reductions will be well received by both holidaymakers, who can enjoy cut priced holiday
car hire in many of the world's most popular destinations, and customers booking local car and van hire in the UK.
Per Voegerl, commercial director at Sixt, says the discounts will be beneficial for Sixt and their customers. "There is a shortage of vehicles across the rental industry so it's important for us to plan ahead for our fleet requirements. Despite this it's quite surprising how many customers still wait until the last minute to make their booking. The new discounts have been introduced to help the customers that help us to manage our fleet by booking as early as possible, and in return we give them significant reductions on rental rates."
