-- Green Revolution, the energy solutions company recognized for their commercial solution, PACS (Power Application Correction System), continues to address the collective concerns of building sustainability practices in schools.
PACS is an affordable energy management system that uses well-known power-saving technology that has been in use for decades. The trusted technology behind PACS actively helps to increase the efficiency of your electrical system.
The Board of Montgomery County Schools recently gave approval to have PACS installed at six of their schools including: Montgomery County High School, McNabb Middle School, Mount Sterling Elementary School, Montgomery County Intermediate, Camargo Elementary School, and Mapleton Elementary School.
"Our school system's commitment to education is mitigated by innovation, recognizing educators as professionals, and the belief that all kids can learn at high levels," said Superintendent, Joshua E. Powell.
Montgomery County's strategic school building improvements with Green Revolution will help address the greatest challenges facing school facilities in cross-cutting fashion.
"We understand that high-performing schools result in high-performing students," said Brad Cohen, CEO, Green Revolution. "Green schools go far beyond bricks and mortar. We see an opportunity to educate a new generation of leaders capable of driving global market transformation." Edward DuCoin, Consulting COO added, "Every penny saved on energy costs can be redirected back to education. We are proud PACS offers this benefit."
The Green Schools Approach devised by Green Revolution aims to: improve student performance and well-being, increase environmental literacy, and enhance resource efficiency and lower carbon footprint.
Other recent educational facilities that have installed PACS and are incorporating the Green Schools Approach include: Colquitt County Schools (Georgia), Pleasant Grove Elementary (Florida), South Sumter High School (Florida), Trinity Preparatory School (Florida), & Unity Christian School (Georgia).
