The trauma program at St. Joseph has been designated as a Level II Trauma Center, as defined by the American College of Surgeons (ACS) and the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS). This designation makes St. Joseph Regional Health Center (SJRHC) the highest level trauma center in the region. Having this level of trauma care available in our region allows patient access to high quality trauma care, closer to home. (http://www.st-joseph.org/landing.cfm?id=424
