Ms. Watanabe boasts 15 years of professional experience and has distinguished herself through her talent for managing medical devices investments. Prior to her current position, Ms. Watanabe served for Nellix, Bacchus Vascular and AneuRx. She considers attaining her current position to be her greatest professional accomplishment. She remains current with professional trends by attending conferences at the Society for Vascular Surgery and Stanford Biodesign. She feels that new technologies should be implemented to overcome current issues faced in the medical industry.
Ms. Watanabe earned her MBA from Harvard University in 1999, her Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University in 1994 and her Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1993. She is affiliated with the Harvard Alumni Association and the Stanford Alumni Association.
