Haleigh's Hope Receives USDA Organic Certification for 2017 Hemp Crop

Haleigh's Hope is excited to announce that they received USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) Organic Certification for its hemp crop.

SOUTH PARK, CO, September 14, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Haleigh's Hope is excited to announce that they received USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) Organic Certification for its hemp crop at both farm locations in Colorado.

In August of 2016, the USDA announced that it will allow organic certification for hemp crops grown in compliance with section 7606 of the 2014 USDA Farm Bill. Since that time, the Haleigh's Hope team has been working diligently to obtain this certification.

The USDA organic certification program is a rigorous five-step program that requires detailed documentation from the cultivator in addition to a very thorough on-site inspection. Organic farmers must not only pass such inspection but also grow their crops free of any synthetic pesticides and fertilizers. Only a fraction of all crop farmers in the USA qualify for the USDA Organic Certification.

"From the very first Haleigh's Hope plant I put in the ground, I always adhered to the strictest cultivation standards to ensure that I yield a clean product," says Jason Cranford, founder of Haleigh's Hope. "Receiving USDA Organic Certification is a very proud moment for myself and our entire team as it is a very long and rigorous process which included an inspection of every single part of our operation. We have always grown Haleigh's Hope following organic methods and protocols but now we can finally show officially that we are USDA Organic Certified. It confirms our dedication to grow some of the cleanest, safest and all around best plants for our consumers."

After random inspection earlier this summer, Haleigh's Hope Inc. has also received its renewed Colorado Department of Agriculture Hemp Certification. In order to receive such certification, the hemp plant must test under 0.3% THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol), not only making it a legal hemp crop under Colorado law but also under section 7606 of the USDA 2014 Farm bill.

Haleigh's Hope offers an extensive line of botanical oils that vary in strength and ratio. All Haleigh's Hope oils are made using exclusively Haleigh's Hope USDA Organic hemp crop grown in Colorado.
