/24-7PressRelease/ - REEDS SPRING, MO, July 11, 2007 — Hansen's Tree Service has been providing professional tree care services in the Branson and Springfield areas for one year, and celebrated its anniversary by providing one local resident with one day of tree care.

The O'Fallon, Missouri-based company expanded into Southwestern Missouri last June because of the region's continual growth and need for professional tree care.

Hansen's provides a variety of services at the new Reeds Spring office including pruning, tree and stump removal, insect and disease control, and tub grinding services, including wood waste and land clearing debris. Because Hansen's is a green waste recycler, the company also offers 100 percent organic mulch and firewood.

In celebration of the anniversary, Hansen's gave Lewis Womack of Springfield free tree care. Womack was nominated by his neighbor, Chuck Smith. During the ice storm this past winter, Womack's huge oak tree was severely damaged. Smith and Womack cleaned what they could, but many broken, hanging limbs still remained. Smith said he was concerned for his neighbor's safety.

"Hansen's provided experienced tree care service during storm recovery efforts this past winter, and we continue to help the community and its trees recover from the extensive damage," Jeff Hansen, President of Hansen's Tree Service, said.

In April, Hansen's celebrated the grand opening of its new office, located at 521 US Highway 160 in Reeds Spring. Since coming to the Branson and Springfield areas, Hansen's has taken on several large projects, including grinding green waste for the City of Nixa as well as projects at local resorts.

"During Hansen's one year in Southwestern Missouri, we've had the opportunity to work with many great businesses and families, and we look forward to serving additional citizens and businesses with reliable, ethical and professional tree care," Hansen said.

Hansen's Tree Service was founded by Jeff Hansen in 1988. The company performs residential and commercial tree services, including diagnosis, treatment, pruning, tree removal and stump removal. In addition to 100 percent green waste recycling, Hansen's also stands out because of its dedication to professional certification programs and staff development. Hansen's is the first and only tree care company in Missouri to be accredited by the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) and employs nine ISA certified arborists.
