As President of Thurston Ministries Evangelistic Association, Mr. Thurston specializes in partnering with people, offering Biblically-based and applied faith services, and organizing and assisting with food pantry and soup kitchen outreach as well as special community events for all ages. In his spare time, Mr. Thurston enjoys singing, fishing, working with his local public access station, and spending time with his wife Karyn.

Mr. Thurston received his Bachelor of Biblical Studies from Logos Christian College in Jacksonville, FL in May of 2003. He also has a diploma from the Heritage School of Evangelism and Communications in Charlotte, NC, received in1981. He became an ordained minister of the Gospel in 2001. He is a member of the International Ministerial Fellowship, Reconciliation! International, the Word of God Fellowship International. He attributes his success to his faith in Jesus Christ, and to his wife for her unconditional support. Thurston Ministries Evangelistic Association intends to purchase an old restaurant and consolidate all ministries into one facility, and to increase the scope of the outreach to the lower and upper coastal regions of Maine and beyond.
