HCL Workforce Solutions Invests in Continuing Professional Development

HCL, the largest provider of temporary healthcare professionals to the National Health Service, is supporting government plans to ensure nurses receive the best education and training.

LONDON, ENGLAND, June 13, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- HCL, the largest provider of temporary healthcare professionals to the National Health Service, is supporting government plans to ensure nurses receive the best education and training. HCL Nursing works with professional trainers in the industry to offer quality courses relevant to the nursing profession to ensure its candidates are kept up to date with industry standards.

EduCare is an award winning distance learning programme that provides training to over 33,000 NHS staff, while iPass, an e-learning website, offers nurses additional support in language training. All nurses registered with HCL Nursing are entitled to exclusive offers and reduced rates from both training providers.

The Royal College of Nursing (RCN), the largest professional union of nursing staff from surgical nurses to outpatient nurses, in the world, has called for the Government to further develop its plans for education and training. HCL supports the College's statement that future health care demands will require changes to current roles and responsibilities of health care professionals and there is a real need for greater education.

Through iPass, HCL Nursing is able to offer nurses from overseas a range of discounted online English courses to improve their English skills. As well as general English courses from beginner to advanced level, there are specialised courses for professionals working in healthcare and nursing jobs. In addition, HCL Nursing is able to offer a discount on a number of courses provided by EduCare. Please email [email protected] for a full list and further details on the courses, including the following:

- Basic Food Hygiene
- An Introduction to Equality & Diversity
