/Worldwide Who's Who/ -- Heather Keighley, Team Manager for the Department of Health and Families for the Northern Territory Government of Australia, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in aboriginal health services.
After looking for a strong career path, Ms. Keighley found her niche in aboriginal health services and has worked in the field for Australia's Northern Territory for more than 30 years, much of which time was spent in hospitals in remote areas. The Northern Territory Government is a regional government that provides social, family support and health care services. As an expert in interpersonal and inter-agency communications and a team manager of the department of health and families, she is responsible for managing a multidisciplinary team that provides support in the form of remote health services and community development. She also supports other agencies that provide similar services.
Ms. Keighley received a master's degree in international health management from The University of New England in 2011. She also earned a graduate diploma in health management. She is a member of Australian Nurses Federation and a distinguished member of the Golden Key International Honour Society. In her free time, she enjoys family, belly dancing and playing the piano. Looking ahead, she intends to become more involved in the research aspect of her field.
