Heather Royer Named a VIP Member of Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Apparel Design

Heather Royer, design director, is experienced in leading teams in the creation of menswear collections



    MINNEAPOLIS, MN, August 12, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Heather Royer, Men's Design Director of Private Label Brands for Bioworld Merchandising, was recently named a VIP member of Worldwide Who's Who. This special distinction honors individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to achieving personal and professional success.

Ms. Royer has 15 years of experience in apparel design, with eight of those years in a progressive design role at the management level. For the past two years, she has gained extensive expertise as men's design director of private label brands for Bioworld Merchandising. Ms. Royer has gained strong skills in men's hats and accessories, men's sweater design, women's sweater design, women's knits design, men's knits design, fashion figure drawing, technical drawing, fabric rendering, and illustrating with CAD and hand drawing. Previously, she worked for Target from 2002-2010, as a lead designer.

At Bioworld Merchandising, as a retail fashion designer, Ms. Royer effectively directs designers, and she is experienced in team leadership. To determine future looks and develop collections, she researches trends to see what will be distinctly cutting edge, and applies her learnings. In addition, Ms. Royer creates new processes and strategies.

Ms. Royer received a bachelor of fine arts in apparel design in 1997 from Rhode Island School of Design. She is a member of Fashion and Apparel Professionals of Minnesota. She donates to The Student Conservation Association.
