/24-7PressRelease/ - HEERLEN, THE NETHERLANDS, September 10, 2008 - The Cadac Group, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and developer of Organice, a SharePoint based engineering document management solution, has signed a contract with Heijmans Infra for the implementation of Organice. Heijmans Infra will use Organice to manage their project documents and to control their document distribution in a number of infrastructural projects.
The Heijmans Infrastructure Divisions' activities are focused on design, consulting, execution and maintenance with respect to groundwork, road building, concrete construction and hydraulic engineering. Heijmans Infra will use Organice for three projects: the reconstruction of the N302 motorway at Harderwijk, the construction of the N34/N36 motorway at Ommen, and the construction of the Flevo plant (energy plant), for which Heijmans executes the masonries.
In these projects, Heijmans Infra will use Organice Explorer as well as Organice Transmit. With Organice Explorer all project documents will be managed, like CAD drawings, Office documents and e-mail. In addition Organice Transmit will be used to distribute project documents to internal and external users. A tracking list in SharePoint will keep track of who received which documents. Tasks can be set for the different recipients and the sender can see in SharePoint if the recipients performed their task. With Organice, Heijmans is in control over the project documents and project members will receive the information they need at the right time.
