- Lancaster, PA, April 21, 2008, Helen Y. Gant-Farley, Practice Manager for the Lancaster General Medical Group of Crooked Oak Family Health Center, has been recognized by
Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in healthcare administration.
An expert in process improvement, Ms. Gant-Farley brings eight years of professional experience to the Lancaster General Medical Group. She boasts combined experience in both clinical and business operations, and specializes in collecting statistical data, presenting data and analyzing operations to help staff achieve optimal patient satisfaction. Her regular duties include supervising the front and back offices, credentialing and licensing, budgeting, managing finances, payroll and accounts payable and receivable, and managing human resources. Prior to taking on her current position, she worked as clinical operations manager for a local obstetrics and gynecology practice and as assistant director of business services for a local hospital. She considers obtaining her Master's Degree to be her proudest professional accomplishment to date, and attributes her success to her determination.
Ms. Gant-Farley received her Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration from Pennsylvania State University and her Bachelor's Degree from Drexel University. She is a member of the Lancaster County Practice Managers Association and the Pennsylvania Medical Society. Her goals include reestablishing the practice in the community, recruiting physicians and moving into an administrative position within the organization.
