HENDERSON, NV, July 16, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/
-- When it comes to cosmetic dentistry, one of the most commonly requested services is teeth whitening. This isn't a surprise being that in an American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry survey 94 percent of respondents say that a white smile makes a person more attractive and desirable to others.
Dr. Brad Wilbur, a dentist in Henderson, of Green Valley Dental Center specializes in professional teeth whitening Henderson, NV residents can trust for a long-lasting bright smile. He uses the industry's best tools and brightening products to service clients in just under an hour in most cases. It is a safe and effective way to get a beautiful smile that will keep its luster for many years with good care.
During the procedure, the patient is outfitted with an appliance to hold the lips back so that a high-powered bleaching gel can be thoroughly applied to the surface of the teeth. Then Dr. Wilbur uses a light wand to activate the whitening agent. After the gel is removed and the teeth are polished, many patients see very noticeable results -- up to eight shades brighter.
Whiter Teeth, Brighter Life?
Many experts theorize about the effects of having the teeth whitened. By many accounts having whiter teeth can have the same effect (or even better) on a person's looks as having a face lift or getting an awesome new hairstyle. The teeth are a key part of the face and affect everything from the way a person's face is shaped to the way he smiles. What many experts have found is that when patients are confident about the way their teeth look, they are also more apt to flash their smile and attract social attention. There's a significantly positive effect on self-confidence and self-esteem.
