/24-7PressRelease/ - Brooklyn, NY, August 30, 2008, Henryka Anna Pietrzak Varga, Certified Nursing Assistant for Norwegian Christian Home and Health Center, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in healthcare.

Mrs. Varga brings 12 years of experience in healthcare to Norwegian Christian Home and Health Center, a post-surgery recuperation facility for patients and residents. An expert nursing assistant, she is responsible for instructing exercises for patients and seeing to patients' needs, and is proud to lend her talents to a healthcare center that offers a homey, wonderful environment with a passionate, committed staff who care about the residents and treat them like family. Prior to earning her current position, Mrs. Varga worked with rehabilitation patients and residents, and as a certified EKG technician. In addition to being a Certified Nursing Assistant, she is a Certified Phlebotomist and Certified Rehabilitation Aide. Mrs. Varga also holds an Associate's Degree in Economics and is pursuing certification in medical billing. She speaks Polish, English and Russian.

Originally from Poland, Mrs. Varga had to work extra hard to reach the top of her chosen profession. She spoke no English upon coming to the United States but, determined to build a new life for her self and her family, she made her living cleaning houses, babysitting and working as a waitress at large events, eventually finding her way to Norwegian Christian Home and Health Center, where she was originally hired as a housekeeper. Through ambition and sheer stubbornness, she was able to rise to her present position, purchase her own house and put her two children through school—a daughter, who has completed her Master's Degree, and a son, who has a Bachelors degree and is a sergeant and inspector in the United States Marine Corps. Mrs. Varga finds deep personal fulfillment in looking back on the adversity she has overcome to make it in America, and considers seeing her children succeed and being in the position she had worked so hard to be in to be her two greatest accomplishments. She attributes her success to her work ethic, integrity, kindness, eagerness to learn and the support she receives from her husband.
