/24-7PressRelease/ - BURBANK, CA, March 05, 2008 - Jeff Johnson Casting in Utah is organizing principal dancer auditions for High School Musical 3 the week of March 10th, 2008 in Salt Lake City. Extras casting is also now available and will be ongoing. Dancers must be a formally trained, be 14 (fourteen) years of age by March 22, 2008, and must appear to be someone who would be in High School.

High School Musical 3: Senior Year, the feature-film follow-up to the two popular Disney television movies, will be released on October 24, according to Variety.

The film, directed by Kenny Ortega and scripted by Peter Barsocchini, will reportedly find high school seniors Troy and Gabriella (played by Zac Efron and Vanessa Anne Hudgens) "facing the prospect of being separated from one another as they head off in different directions to college. Joined by the rest of the Wildcats, they stage an elaborate spring musical reflecting their experiences, hopes and fears about their future." The third installment, will introduce us to new some new characters besides the ones we already know and love. It is reported that Ali Lohan, Lindsay's younger sister, is auditioning for the movie. Ali's rep confirmed the news and rumor has it that she may be up for the part of a high school diva that gives Sharpay a run for her money.

High School Musical 3 will also feature a rare costume concept, one that will allow fans to wear exactly what they see on the big screen. Caroline Marx, the costume designer for the film, recently unveiled her plan regarding Troy and Gabriell's prom. "I want to team with David's Bridal and their tux rental company After Hours" she said, "and create two looks, a girl's and a guy's, that you can go rent." Leave it to Disney to think of bigger and better ways to market the movie to their fans. Seems high schools across the countries will have lots of Troys and Gabriellas slow dancing on their big night.

Among the other Disney films on the horizon, are Confessions of a Shopaholic, starring Hugh Dancy (February 14, 2009); Old Dogs, starring John Travolta and Robin Williams (April 10, 2009); The Hannah Montana Movie (May 1, 2009); and Tim Burton's 3-D version of Alice in Wonderland (March 19, 2010).
