Home Education Magazine Announces the release of the February 2008 HEM HOMESCHOOL SUPPORT AND NETWORKING NEWS .
In the February Issue, HEM Homeschool Support and Networking News editor, Mary Nix, interviewed Laife Janovyak who was home educated until she enrolled at Ball State University in Indiana. She graduated from Ball State with a major in Public History and is now living in the Republic of Georgia while serving in the Peace Corps. A recently released Peace Corps press release included Laife.
"Janovyak serves as a non-governmental organization advisor and is helping to change attitudes about children with disabilities in her community. As a part of her project she is teaching English to children and working with a local group to bring school children and children with disabilities together through drama productions and puppet shows."
