He has an impressive background of more than 23 years in teaching and excels in teaching courses on international finance and personal finance management, conducting research, consulting, and presenting lectures on international finance. Dr. Rim became involved in his profession because of his passion for teaching and attributes his success to his hard work and the quality of the education that he received.

A Fulbright Scholar, Dr. Rim earned his Ph.D. in Finance from Pennsylvania State University in 1986, his Master's Degree in Finance from Seoul National University in 1979, and his Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Korea University in 1973. He is affiliated with the Global Finance Association, the Financial Management Association International, and Applied Research Associates. Dr. Rim aspires to become chairman of the department of finance in the future.
