NEW YORK, NY, April 01, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- On April 20, 2010, The Building Green Expo and Workshops returns to New York City and will take place at 7 World Trade Center. With the world focused on saving resources and money, this year Building Green has geared its workshops to those interested in making money through proper training and incentives.

Building Green provides an opportunity for Architects, Construction Managers, Developers, Engineers, General Contractors, Government Agencies, Manufacturers, Suppliers and Trade Contractors to network, showcase their products and educate the general public about new innovations that compliment the NYS Green Building Initiatives. This year's focus will be about establishing and maintaining relations throughout the construction industry to continue on the path of energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.

Many business owners fear the cost to go green may over shadow their ROI, but Crescent Energy, founder of the Building Green Expo and Workshops has put together three workshops aimed to ease these concerns: "Making green ($$) from green," - There is a misconception that being Green is expensive or requires long-term ROI. This workshop will outline how to save and make money in the Green industry. "Green Building Incentives" - FOCUS on commercial Real Estate, Maximize your return on GREEN investment. Finally a "Green job Training Panel" - Green jobs support the solar, wind, biomass, hydrogen and fuel cell industries. Panelists from different industries will identify the specific skills the green economy demands; and the need to invest in creating new training programs and retooling existing training programs to meet the demand.

Sponsorship for the event has grown larger and wider with new companies, agencies and organizations participating in Building Green's sustainable efforts. Crescent Energy is joined this year by BNY Mellon, NYSERDA, DASNY, KOHLER, Park Avenue Roofing and Supplies, Battery Park City Authority, R & J Construction Corporation, Image Marketing Inc, NY Real Estate Journal, New York Power Authority, Turner Construction and more TBA. For more information regarding workshops, Exhibiting or Sponsorship, email: info@BldgGreenExpo.com.

About Building Green

Since the launch of the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System, the growth and interest in green building projects has spread rapidly. Recognizing this growth in the construction industry and the strong need to get companies that provide green products/services to unite with construction industry leaders as well as teaching new trends within the Green industry, Building Green was created.
