An accomplished listee, Mr. Aibel celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

As arbitrator and mediator, Mr. Aibel has specialized in international antitrust cases and currently serves as a Vice Chairman, alternative dispute resolution, and internal counsel for numerous prestigious clients. He is also a patron of the arts. He was named a trustee of the Westport Country Playhouse in 2005. He is known as a champion of the environment and served as a commissioner of the Weston Conservation Commission from 2004 to 2012. Mr. Aibel has served as vice chair of the Fund for Modern Courts, a trustee for Sacred Heart University of Fairfield, Connecticut, and currently serves as a trustee emeritus.
