Marking the 25th anniversary for the awards, the May 19, 2009 ceremony was held at the Raleigh Convention Center.
Only one company in each size category is chosen for this award. HPG is recognized for outstanding entrepreneurship in the 26-100 employees category. Winners are selected by an independent group of judges based on demonstrating staying power, innovation, and community involvement.
