Hudson Valley Art Organization Hosts Divine Shakti Arts Festival This Fall

    BLOOMINGBURG, NY, October 28, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Divine Shakti Arts (DSA), an art and music organization that focuses on creativity from the highest aspect of ourselves, will be hosting its first ever, Divine Shakti Arts Festival this fall at the Volition Gallery, located at Bell-Ans Park in Orangeburg, NY. The festival, which takes place November 5th, seeks to bring together artists, musicians, and creative types in an environment that nurtures both the spirit and love that exists in all beings.

"The festival is meant to express the mission and vision of Divine Shakti Arts, which is that art and creativity can be a vehicle of the soul and illuminate the highest essence of the Divine," explained Mike McDonough, President of Divine Shakti Arts. He continued "We are excited to bring together various Hudson Valley musicians, artists and creators for an incredible event that everyone can enjoy."

The festival will feature artwork from Julia Murray, Martin Cash, Meghan McDonough, Mike McDonough, and more. It will feature live musical performance from Terzo, Tapasya, and Austin Charnis. Attendees can expect to see live painting and discussion panels throughout the day with artists and partake in a live drum circle.

DSA was formed in 2013 and originally launched at the Garner Arts Center in Garnerville, NY before relocating. The Divine Shakti Arts festival is the first of its kind for the organization, bringing together spiritual principles as they merge with art, music, and creativity.

"We are excited about the future and possibilities it holds as we look to put on more events like the Divine Shakti Arts Festival. In addition, we are looking to establish relationships with other organizations such as Volition Gallery, and host a series of events throughout the Hudson Valley," states McDonough.
