/24-7PressRelease/ -- Bill Carr, a resident of Hudson and Co-owner of local solar and wind installation company New England Breeze, LLC has recently become a NABCEP Certified Solar PV Installer . Mr. Carr is one of only thirty-one NABCEP- certified solar electric (photovoltaic) installers in the state. As the climate for solar in Massachusetts heats up, the need for trained and experienced solar installers is critical to the successful spread of reliable clean energy producing systems. Currently the only nationally recognized certification that exists for solar installers is a voluntary certification awarded by NABCEP, the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners. "Attaining NABCEP certification reaffirms the New England Breeze commitment to bringing the highest quality, safety and value to our customers.EUR Like many others in the area, Mr. Carr made a conscious decision to enter the Green Workforce. A former software engineer, Mr. Carr made the change from software to solar by attending local training classes and getting his hands on solar equipment. His classroom training combined with more than two years of on-the-job installation experience prepared him to sit for the NABCEP national exam held twice a year.
Mr. Carr has been designing and installing solar electric systems since he and Co-owner Mark Durrenberger founded New England Breeze in 2006. Both saw a need for a dependable and knowledgeable hometown company, passionate about the environment, which could serve the local population. Over the past three years New England Breeze has designed and installed over forty solar electric systems in Worcester and Middlesex counties.
