PORT ORCHARD, WA, January 06, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Hydrus Media, a TV, film and music production company, announced today that sponsorship packages are now available for its 2012 Don't Look Back Tour featuring VanMarter Project, a rock band from the Pacific Northwest, signed under the Hydrus Media label. The tour will begin February 28, 2012 and offer 40 concerts at schools across Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana and Utah. A percent of ticket proceeds will be donated to each school's music and performing arts programs. Sponsorships are available at Platinum, Gold and Silver levels for businesses of any size.

VanMarter Project is an Affiliate Artist with Empty Vessel Music, a 501(c)3, which offers music education, appreciation and intervention for at risk youth through "The Music Matters Project". VanMarter Project will advocate this program during their tour while performing fundraising concerts for local schools' music and performing arts programs. Students from dance, choir, band/orchestra and AV have the opportunity to participate in the concert production, performing on stage and learning the behind the scenes requirements from national touring sound and lighting professionals. Band members also visit classrooms the morning of the concert to inspire students to pursue their education and dreams.

Due to the fundraising goal of this tour to support local music education, Hydrus Media is not seeking to profit from concert ticket sales and is offering sponsorship opportunities. Physical support through equipment donations are needed to maintain performance quality, from picks and strings to amplifiers, guitars and drums. Monetary sponsorships are being offered at a $500 Silver level, $1,000 Gold Level and $5,000 Platinum level. Silver Sponsors will receive advertising on all VanMarter Project affiliated websites. Gold Sponsors will receive website and print advertising on all promotional posters for the tour. Platinum Sponsors will receive advertising on websites, promotional tour posters, tour T-shirts, and mention during radio and television interviews. For more information about sponsoring the 2012 Don't Look Back Tour or to make musical instrument donations to VanMarter Project, Empty Vessel Music or a local school directly, please contact deann@hydrusmedia.com.

"It's unfortunate that the music and arts are threatened by budget cuts in our educational system," states Travis Swanson, President, Hydrus Media. "The social and academic benefits of music education have been well documented in hundreds of studies." The 2012 Don't Look Back Tour will aid local schools by raising additional funds for their music and performing arts programs while providing opportunities for students to participate and be inspired to pursue their dreams.
