Nevertheless, only six per cent of those have mastered it. Consumers often have difficulties with trusting in fancy advertisement methods. They do however trust their family and friends. In fact, 92 per cent of consumers believe recommendations from friends and family over all forms of advertising, according to a study undertaken by Nielson. Hype Initiatives say that often a recommendation by someone people know well does not need any further proof or convincing. "No matter what kind of product or service we are talking about, if a family member or a good friend tells us how much they adore a specific product and what impact it had on their lives, the decision is already made; no further effort needed", explains Hype Initiative's MD. The firm reinforces the high impact on sales, loyalty and ROI by using this simple form of marketing. Hype Initiatives add: "It seems unbelievable to us that only a little amount of businesses value WOMM."
