/24-7PressRelease/ -- The International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP ) today named a seven-member evaluation panel of recognized industry leaders to rank the world's best outsourcing service providers and advisors for two annual listings.
The independent judges will use a rigorous and objective process to rank applications of the top providers for the fourth annual Global Outsourcing 100 and advisors for the inaugural World's Best Outsourcing Advisors listing.
The panelists have extensive experience in selecting companies based on requests for proposals (RFPs). Many also hold the prestigious Certified Outsourcing Professional (COP) certification, validating their outsourcing expertise.
"This year's panel will select from the most diverse set of applications we've ever had with even greater interest from companies in growing outsourcing destinations in Asia-Pacific and Europe," said IAOP Chairman Michael Corbett. "This independent judging process ensures the highest quality results and rankings that will be valuable for business decision makers as well as the companies applying."
Led for the fourth consecutive year by Jagdish Dalal, COP, managing director thought leadership, IAOP, the panelists include:
-- Divyesh Dalal, managing director, India, Hamilton Sundstrand, United Technologies International Operations, Inc.
-- Teresa Harris, COP, IT manager, global sourcing, Eastman Kodak Company

IAOP also will produce a new report, Global Outsourcing 100 Plus, an expanded industry-wide report highlighting the qualifications and capabilities of the best service providers and advisors globally.
Companies are ranked on overall capabilities and quality following a rigorously judged application process that examines multiple criteria. Final rankings are based on a weighted average on demonstrated competencies, size and growth, management capabilities and customer references.
The companies named in The Global Outsourcing 100 will be announced at the association's annual conference, The 2009 Outsourcing World Summit , Feb. 16-18, at La Costa Resort & Spa, in Carlsbad, California, attended by hundreds of the industry's top customers, providers and advisors.
The ranking of these companies and sublists then will be unveiled in a special advertising section of Fortune magazine in the May 4 "Fortune 500" issue that reaches 4.1 million business readers.
