The golf tournament will benefit Michael Irvin's foundation, PlayMaker Charities and Academies .

The celebrity charity golf tournament will feature 36 celebrities paired with foursomes in a shotgun start 18-hole tournament. The field will comprise of celebrities from the realms of sports and entertainment and some notables expected to participate in the tournament include: Emmitt Smith, Deion Sanders, Michael Vick, Warren Sapp, Derrick Brooks, Braylon Edwards, Bernie Mac, Terrell Owens and many more. The tournament will offer a breakfast and lunch served to players in the Bonaventure Clubhouse.
"It is my calling and passion to help these children and give them opportunities that so many of them don't have," said Irvin, who founded PlayMaker Charities and Academies. "I will do everything I can to make a difference in these children's lives and I hope this golf tournament will be a huge success and help us generate funds and support for the program at Carter Park."
