Prime Minister David Cameron pledges to cut the red tape for UK's small businesses. Direct marketing firm Iconic Strategies Ltd welcomes the entrepreneurial mindset of the government to enhance economical growth.

NORWICH, ENGLAND, February 28, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Prime Minister David Cameron pledges to cut the red tape for UK's small businesses. Direct marketing firm Iconic Strategies Ltd welcomes the entrepreneurial mindset of the government to enhance economical growth.

The British government is determined to "get out of the way of small business success," says David Cameron. In fact, more than 3,000 rules affecting business are to be dropped or amended, saving over GBP850 million a year (bbc.co.uk/news). Simon Reynolds, Managing Director of Iconic Strategies Ltd, welcomes the government's support: "UK small businesses play a crucial role for the economic recovery. We are glad that the government is taking action on simplifying regulations and supporting entrepreneurs in Great Britain", explains Simon Reynolds.

About Iconic Strategies Ltd

Part of the government's clear long-term economic plan is the cut of business rates and to scrap the jobs tax from April 2015. "We need to be a country that celebrates enterprise and backs risk takers", says David Cameron (bbc.co.uk/news). Iconic Strategies Ltd believe that this is the right way to go in order to provide more Brits with the opportunity of running their own business.

Regulations about food labelling are going to be reduced from 30 to 17. In addition to that, 142 road transport regulations will be removed or improved. This means that 36 million vehicles will no longer need a paper disk. The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) is planning to withdraw 80,000 pages of environmental guidance by March 2015, saving British businesses up to GBP100 million a year (bbc.co.uk/news). Iconic Strategies Ltd are relieved to see that the government's actions will include a GBP1.1 billion package of business rates relief, GBP100 million of broadband vouchers and up to GBP2,000 each in growth funding for 20,000 small firms (bbc.co.uk/news).

Simon Reynolds of Iconic Strategies Ltd says: "It is great to see that things are happening and that the importance of small businesses for the British economy does not remain underestimated." Simon Reynolds believes that it is important for the economic recovery that the government focuses on the support for small businesses. He agrees however with the FSB's policy chairman, Mike Cherry, that larger firms can also do their bit "in supporting ambitious small businesses, for example, through paying their smaller suppliers promptly", he claims (bbc.co.uk/news).

Iconic Strategies Ltd hope that in the near future entrepreneurs will have to worry less about regulations and high taxes and can rather focus on innovation and business growth. "As an entrepreneur, I know the challenges well", he says. Simon Reynolds has been Managing Director of outsourced direct marketing firm Iconic Strategies Ltd since mid 2013. The company raises brand awareness on their clients' behalf and their sales force promotes and sells their products and services. In line with Iconic Strategies Ltd's year-end results, the firm is now preparing to represent their clients in further markets by June 2014.
