With over 2,000 people responding (71% American) an overwhelming 91% said that they would vote for Jed Bartlett.
When asked if they would vote for the actor Martin Sheen if he ever ran for US president 27% said they would vote for him and 32% indicated that they might.
Only 6% of those polled thought that a serving president should resign if, as in the TV series, the president suffered from MS and kept his condition secret from the electorate. 27% thought that if real life, Jed Bartlett’s presidency would be remembered as the finest US president.
